Our roots go back to 1912, when Matsui Mfg. was founded in Japan as a manufacturer of medical and chemical equipment. As our company grew, we diversified into new product lines and markets. Our move into plastics processing came in 1963, when Matsui began manufacturing injection molding equipment.

We then expanded globally, establishing our North American headquarters in Elk Grove Village, IL in 1986, followed by a West Coast office in Los Angeles, CA in 1990. To better serve the rapidly growing U.S. market, Matsui later relocated its North American headquarters to an expanded site in Hanover Park, IL.

Today, Matsui today is the largest supplier of industrial drying and pneumatic conveying equipment in Japan, and one of the leading manufacturers worldwide. In addition to our two locations in North America, we operate facilities in Korea, China, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
